Apex Tape Mod
Put O-rings on Barrel
Wrap tape NEATLY to match the thickness of the O-ring
Compare barrels to Get the Gap right and wrap second section accordingly.
Place Barrel in APEX tip and close it up.

I (Trevor) found this online, but this is my version. The Apex is really just a small barrel with a plastic end with a ramp in it. Simple but effective. Follow this step by step and you will have a better and more accurate Apex. P.S any mods found in this website are to be used at your own risk and we are not responsible.
First Step: Remove the APEX tip and O-rings from the stock barrel
Put O-rings on Barrel
Wrap tape NEATLY to match the thickness of the O-ring
Compare barrels to Get the Gap right and wrap second section accordingly.
Place Barrel in APEX tip and close it up.
There you go. It should be nice and sturdy if not you need more tape.
